No Mask. Just Sleep.
A Breakthrough Treatment for Obstructive Sleep Apnea
El Paso Sleep Center Is Now Offering Inspire Upper Airway Stimulation
What Is Inspire Therapy?
Inspire is the only FDA-approved obstructive sleep apnea treatment that works inside the body to treat the root cause of sleep apnea. Unlike CPAP, Inspire does not use a mask, hose, or external machine. With the click of a handheld remote, the system gently stimulates airway muscles during sleep—allowing normal breathing and uninterrupted rest.
How Inspire Works
Inspire is a small device placed during a same-day outpatient procedure. Once activated, it works with your natural breathing while you sleep by keeping the airway open. You simply turn it on before bed and turn it off when you wake up—no nightly equipment required.
Who May Be a Candidate for Inspire?
You may qualify for Inspire therapy if you have moderate to severe obstructive sleep apnea, are unable to tolerate or benefit from CPAP therapy, are not significantly obese, and meet age and medical criteria. A comprehensive evaluation at El Paso Sleep Center will determine eligibility.
Why Patients Choose Inspire
Inspire is a proven, clinically validated treatment with high patient satisfaction and adherence. It was FDA approved in 2014 and has demonstrated significant reductions in sleep apnea events and improvements in quality of life. For patients who struggle with CPAP, Inspire offers a life-changing alternative.
